Joël Giroux is a French-Canadian actor born in the crater of Sudbury, Ontario.

A graduate of both now-defunct French and English Theatre programs at Laurentian University, Joël Giroux received extensive training in Classical and Contemporary Performance, Pochinko Clown, and Collaborative Creation. He's since further developed himself in the fields of Puppetry, Voice Acting, and Audiobook Narration.

He has worked on a variety of commercials (for brands such as Bosch, TD Bank, and Kraft Dinner), theatre productions (both musical and not), and, somewhere along the way, voiced an Evil Air Freshener in an animated movie.

With a voice that's deep, expressive and versatile, Joël loves to explore and develop voices and accents, with a particular love for the varied and emotionally charged casts of the Fantasy, Mystery, and Romance Fiction that he reads in his spare time.

When not on stage, in his recording booth, or nose-deep in a book, Joël runs a mix of Tabletop RPG Campaigns and Board Game Nights for his friends, and is half of the creative duo Heads & Tails (with long-time friend and creative partner Stéphanie Charbonneau) which is currently working on its first major project, Scatapella!
